John likes long walks on the beach and enjoys sitting oceanside while he swings his feet back and forth as his toes graze the cool water. John created Crossfit Pro as a way for him and his teammates to help members, clients, families, and friends not only work alongside professional athletes but work together reaching new levels of fitness. Maurice played college football for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and received All-American recognition. The Jaguars chose him in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and he has been named to the Pro Bowl three times. He led the NFL in rushing yards in 2011. Maurice successfully ended Johns career in 2007 when he selfishly stepped on his ankle during the 4th quarter of the Tennessee Titan game. John ended up having surgery and retiring 2 years later because of the mental pain and anguish he suffered from the tragic event. Maurice now works out at this gym to try and make up for the millions he ended up costing the brave and courageous John Broussard.
